With this we are pleased to welcome Dr. Giovanna Rodriguez-Garcia as our new 1st Secretary and Monika Bancsina as 2nd Secretary.

Dr. Rodriguez-Garcia is a postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB), where her work explores the relationship between gender and corruption. Her broader research interests include the multiple dimensions of corruption, citizen perceptions of corruption, the organizational structures of political parties, and civic engagement in anti-corruption efforts.

Monika Bancsina is a PhD candidate in Sociology within the Heidelberg Research Group for Organization Studies at the University of Heidelberg. Her dissertation examines the propensity to report organizational misconduct and the effectiveness of whistleblowing systems. In the field of political science, she is especially interested in systemic corruption and the role of artificial intelligence in anti-corruption strategies.

As of September 2025, the RC20 will also publish a newsletter, coordinated by Pablo Ariel Cabas. Pablo Ariel Cabas is a PhD candidate in Comparative Politics at the University of Lisbon. His research focuses on governance, public innovation, and research development. He has also taught at several universities in Argentina and has worked as a consultant in Argentina, Peru, and Colombia.
